Is it offline, do not seem to be able to access since yesterday.
Was uploading the Fan Site Kit, then it seemed to go offline at the end of the upload, was wondering if I had possibly been autobanned.

I have no problems connecting. Maybe just a temporary dns glitch between you and them.

I thought I killed it. I had just updated the FSK thread with the link to the microsoft site for the FSK and when I looked back at the thread I realized I hadn't read the first page of the thread where someone had already posted it along with followup posts that that link wasn't working.
I went back to delete/edit my post and couldn't connect again.

I can't connect either, been down for two days for me. The community bar addon slows my site down to snails pace when they are offline so i've removed it for now. Back to normal on my forum but still no TSP

Try resetting/restarting your router.
Have had this 4 times, flushed DNS, stopped/started various things, cleaned cookies etc. only solution was to reset router.

Did that, my ip is banned, guess i'm being blamed for the dos attacks again. Not my bloody fault if whoever is doing this is using the ip's in the community bar to bounce off of. Every site i goto that has that takes forever to load including my own forum, why i've removed it and surprise surprise, i can get into my own forum now. Sick of being blamed for shit that has nothing to do with me. That community bar is nothing but trouble. Anyway i don't care anymore, sod the starport

For me anyway .. i checked the other day and it was up
i checked it just now and its up ... I agree Gibbon that when they go down the Community Bar Will KILL Both our FL sites .. They should consider hosting that somwhere else..
i have also disabled it when needed...

I hate to say this but, I'm sort of getting tired of the rude responses to my posts. I may not be a mod developer but I have been a member of the Starport since it's beginning. I've never done anything that would harm them and there's no reason I'm getting a run around when I inquire about something.
Even though I'm listed and have been approved for admittance in the Server Admin area, I was told the other day that only the Admins of TSP have access for some reason or another.
I go there a try to read or look for older posts that may concern my needs but more than not, it comes back as

Why I don't have those rights now is news to me. I try to edit posts about what's going on with my server and they get all screwed up or, I have to log in again.
Whatever they're using, XOOPS, I don't like it. The forum was good the way it was IMHO. I have thought about just deleting my account there, but now, you have to be registered to get downloads that aren't owned or created by all that run the Starport. That in itself, is not right to keep players from downloading something that was originally intended to be accessible to all Freelancer players.
The other thing I don't like is, there's no Members area and I don't like that because I can't view it to find specific members I may want to send a PM to. When I inquire, I get directed to try it another way and that gets worse and I end up just logging off.
Idk people, I've seen a lot of hacks being posted and discussed as legal for people to use but, imo, I consider many of them cheats.
Just a concerned Citizen of Sirius is all.

& I thought it was just me... hmm nope.. others are also unhappy
with current TSP developments..
As i dont have a server im not allowed to have admin area rights.. so i cant comment there (even though ive been an WTS admin.. and have modded FL for 3-4 years.. geesh).. but im not real enthused about most of the changes they've made..
This info above me.. tells me there's way more going on than us lowly modders & players are aware of.. really hope they fix it soon.. last thing this community needs is more split factions..
Its hard enough for new players to get any real info as it is..

The current TSP 2.0 is not much different from the TSP 2.0 that i did see one year ago.. i at least thought that they would have fixed the bugs and changed the design during that year but as you know this is not the case.
However i can not really make much comments about that... i dont have less access rights than before as my rights got revoked long time ago and since i got a high speed connection now i can again visit the site again. People with slow connections will have a problem with that due to the videos.
What i noticed is that the search is not working correctly and that of course the FLCN has become a massive security problem for all the FL sites.
i better stop commenting now before i get blamed for... hmm dunno but people will find a reason

What gets me about not having viewing rights is that, some of the things I'm wanting to few are my own.
As for the FLCN, it gave me problems some time back so I just deleted it. I like the Ring better. That way, I can edit it to my liking and since I don't care much for Disco anymore, I don't have to be subject to support them by having it linked from my forums so, I deleted it. I also see that they now have here here, but are not supportive at all. I'll stop it here. This Community helps me more than TSP anyway. They just ended up with all the downloads for some reason and have been online less time that FLC has.
